Record where you searched
Your iPhone records your path as you walk. Pause, resume and finish a search; nothing is lost when you lose signal.
Coming soon to the App Store
When someone goes missing, every minute counts, and volunteers often search the same ground twice while other areas go unchecked. Area Watcher shows where you and other searchers have already been, so your search covers new ground.

Coming soon to theApp StoreArea Watcher is a coordination tool for volunteers. It does not replace, and is not meant to supersede, law enforcement or official search and rescue. Always report a missing person or an emergency to 911 or your local law enforcement agency first, and follow the direction of the agency and incident command leading the search.
Area Watcher does not dispatch help, notify the authorities, or monitor searches, and it is not affiliated with any law enforcement agency or search and rescue organization. It is built to support the professionals in charge, never to compete with or direct them.
